Assistant Grocery Buyer/Manager

To help oversee the selection, pricing, development and promotion of department products across both stores.

Cook

To prepare food for the kitchen, deli, or café as well as catering and other special events.

Deli Clerk

To provide excellent customer service and ensure a clean and well stocked sales floor in order to drive sales in a dynamic department.

POS Clerk

The POS Clerk performs administrative duties and data entry supporting the high volume of the POS Department. Work with multiple retail technologies including, but not limited to cash registers and the back-office systems. Maintain data points in supporting systems, including purchasing and accounting.

Meat/Seafood Supervisor

     To ensure meat/seafood department operations run at an optimal level, to oversee the entire operation of the meat department; to offer high-quality products (meat) at competitive prices to customers and to provide excellent customer service; to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.

Seafood Clerk

To provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a fast paced meat and seafood department.

Receiving Clerk

To receive incoming deliveries, account for all product and ensure accuracy of paperwork. As well as organize products by departments and within the warehouses.

Bulk Clerk

To provide excellent customer service and ensure a clean and well stocked sales floor in order to drive sales in a dynamic department.

Cheese Clerk

 To increase sales and encourage customer loyalty by providing prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service as well as a clean and well stocked sales floor in a dynamic, high volume cheese department.

Dishwasher

To perform one or more of the following duties; to assist in preparation of Food Service Department and the maintenance of a sanitary workspace to meet department goals.

Produce Clerk

To provide prompt, friendly, helpful, well-informed service to customers and assist in the operations of a fast paced produce department.

Asian Station / Wok Cook

To prepare food for Hot Food Bar (Asian Station) as well as catering and other special events. Assists with preparation of other foods as necessary.

Loss Prevention Agent

To ensure a safe and secure environment at the store by administering loss prevention programs to guard against theft, vandalism, and violence; to ensure that all customers and company employees are observing safety and loss prevention policies and procedures.

Kitchen Supervisor

To provide prompt, friendly, helpful well-informed service to customers and assist in operations of Café to help meet department goals.

Wine & Beer Clerk

Increasing sales and encouraging customer loyalty by providing excellent customer service and product knowledge. 

Cashier

To check out customer purchases quickly and efficiently, and to provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service. This role is vital for the efficiency of operations at the market and is the “final touch” of customer service.   

Customer Service

To provide customers with prompt, friendly, helpful customer service. Assist and support store needs as needed.  

Grocery Clerk (Asian Dept.)

To provide prompt, friendly, helpful well-informed service to customers and assist to help meet department goals by stocking, receiving, and handling merchandise on the sales floor.

Meat Cutter

To cut and prepare all types of meat product for sale and to provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a fast paced meat department.

Night Crew Stock Clerk

To ensure that all grocery aisles and all grocery products are fully stocked and attractively merchandised.

Utility Clerk

To provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and a high level of customer service, assisting cashiers by bagging groceries and preventing back-up at registers as well as being able to assist throughout the store as necessary.

Janitor

To keep the store and offices clean and orderly, perform basic maintenance throughout the store and office areas, and to provide prompt, friendly, courteous customer service as needed.

In-Store Shopper

To provide accurate, prompt & friendly service to Berkeley Bowl’s online customers, and assist in operations of E-Commerce to help meet department goals.

Café Clerk

To provide prompt, friendly, helpful well-informed service to customers and assist in operations of the Cafe to help meet department goals.

Dairy Clerk

To provide excellent customer service and ensure a clean and well-stocked sales floor in order to drive sales in a dynamic department.

Health & Beauty Clerk

To keep the Health and Beauty Aids (HABA) department fully and attractively stocked, regularly inventory select vendors, provide prompt, friendly, courteous customer service and maintain a presence in the department at all times.

Meat Clerk

To provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a fast paced meat and seafood department.

Grocery Clerk

To provide prompt, friendly, helpful well-informed service to customers and assist to help meet department goals by stocking, receiving and handling merchandise on the sales floor.

Seafood Cutter

To cut and prepare all types of seafood for sale and to provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a fast paced meat and seafood department.

Prep Cook

Responsible for culinary tasks within operations in the kitchen focusing on proper preparation, set-up, and execution of food items.
