Cashier
To check out customer purchases quickly and efficiently, and to provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service. This role is vital for the efficiency of operations at the market and is the “final touch” of customer service.
Produce Clerk
To provide prompt, friendly, helpful, well-informed service to customers and assist in the operations of a fast paced produce department.
Utility Clerk
To provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and a high level of customer service, assisting cashiers by bagging groceries and preventing back-up at registers as well as being able to assist throughout the store as necessary.
Meat Supervisor
To ensure meat department operations run at optimal level, to oversee the entire operation of meat department; to offer high quality products (meat) at competitive prices to customers and to provide excellent customer service; to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
Grocery Clerk
To provide prompt, friendly, helpful well-informed service to customers and assist to help meet department goals by stocking, receiving and handling merchandise on the sales floor.
Deli Clerk
To provide excellent customer service and ensure a clean and well stocked sales floor in order to drive sales in a dynamic department.
To assist Health and Beauty (HABA) Buyer, merchandise products, and supervise department staff to meet objectives for sales, margin, inventory turns, labor and customer service.
Deli Supervisor
To ensure execution of manager direction regarding customer service, quality assurance, compliance and uniforms.
Cafe Supervisor
To ensure that Café produces high quality food products; to ensure efficient and cost effective operations; to develop and maintain employee compliance and optimal productivity; to create a department culture that values teamwork, is respectful to all personnel, and is responsive to the objectives of the company; to ensure customer satisfaction by providing superior customer service.
Cafe Clerk
To provide prompt, friendly, helpful well-informed service to customers and assist in operations of the Café to help meet department goals.
Dairy Clerk
To provide excellent customer service and ensure a clean and well-stocked sales floor in order to drive sales in a dynamic department.
Cheese Clerk
To increase sales and encourage customer loyalty by providing prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service as well as a clean and well stocked sales floor in a dynamic, high volume cheese department.
Dishwasher
To perform one or more of the following duties; to assist in preparation of Food Service Department and the maintenance of a sanitary workspace to meet department goals.
In-Store Shopper
To provide accurate, prompt & friendly service to Berkeley Bowl’s online customers, and assist in operations of E-Commerce to help meet department goals.
Meat Clerk
To provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a fast paced meat and seafood department.
Receiving Clerk
To receive incoming deliveries, account for all product and ensure accuracy of paperwork. As well as organize products by departments and within the warehouses.
Seafood Clerk
To provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a fast paced meat and seafood department.
Floral Prep Clerk
Assists the floral department in all necessary operations to ensure department is prepared for daily sales activities.
Janitor
To keep the store and offices clean and orderly, perform basic maintenance throughout the store and office areas, and to provide prompt, friendly, courteous customer service as needed.
Meat Cutter
To cut and prepare all types of meat product for sale and to provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a fast paced meat department.
Cook
To prepare food for the kitchen, deli, or café as well as catering and other special events.
Asian Grocery Clerk
To provide prompt, friendly, helpful well-informed service to customers and assist to help meet department goals by stocking, receiving, and handling merchandise on the sales floor.
Kitchen Supervisor
To provide prompt, friendly, helpful well-informed service to customers and assist in operations of Café to help meet department goals.
Seafood Supervisor
To ensure seafood department operations run at optimal level, to oversee the entire operations of the department (especially in Manager's absence). To provide excellent customer service; to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
Night Crew Stock Clerk
To ensure that all grocery aisles and all grocery products are fully stocked and attractively merchandised.
Bulk Clerk
To provide excellent customer service and ensure a clean and well stocked sales floor in order to drive sales in a dynamic department.
Kitchen Receiving Clerk
To process designated orders and to maintain organization of products received. To ensure the accuracy and accountability of receiving paperwork, and security of inventory. Provide support to the Receiving Manager and Food Service Manager.
